22nd International Conference in Radiation Effects on Insulators

A special issue of the Nuclear Instruments and Methods in Physics Research Section B (NIMB) journal will presents the proceedings of the Twenty-Second International Conference on Radiation Effects on Insulators (REI-22) to be held in 2025 in Madrid, Spain. The REI conference is one of the largest and longest-running conference series in the field of radiation (ions, electrons, neutrons, photons, etc.) effects on insulating and non-metallic materials. Since its first edition in 1981 in Arco, Italy, the REI conference brings together every two years around 200 researchers from all over the world, to exchange ideas and have in-depth discussions on topics including atomistic and collective processes of radiation effects, modification of irradiated materials, and applications of these phenomena.
